PhotoDesk - for Instagram App Reviews

Before the last update I was not a huge fan of PhotoDesk due to it’s performance, or lack of performance. Now with the new update for This is a GREAT tool for instgram users who manage multiple accounts and want to get statistics. There are some statistics that I wish I had about my follower’s inteactivity like shown on iconosquare, but this is a great tool than having a webpage open that is slow and cumbersome.

I like the new version of the app. I’ve been using it for sometime now and it definitely needed an update. The app is still convulted but that is to be expected as it has so many features. The app isn’t as responsive as I would like but then again no app is perfect.

This app is the perfect companion to Instagram. My one request is to improve the push notifications. They’re a bit delayed from actual post-times. Also, I’m using the Favorites feature, but it would be great to be able to add specific profiles and hashtags to feeds. This way, I can create a feed for work, and view posts only relevant to that specific feed.

The app crashes quite often; it’s quite slow to update to current status of instagram account. The new UI is tailored to blend w/ Yosemite, which is nice. I’m at the point that the performance issues has caused be to not use this app. However, the features are nice, just poor execution.

The app is slow and you cannot upload images from your computer.

This is probably the best Instagram desktop client there is. It’s just like the mobile app and then some. You can’t upload your own photos, but that’s because Instagram doesn’t allow it, so not the developers fault. Highly recommend this app and great developer too. Very open to hear suggestions.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures shown in the APP INTRODUCTION. This APP, once you start it, does not show any photos from your Instagram feed. The APP developer tells in ‘Small Fine Prints’, “…due to the Instagram policy we cannot show photos…”. If that is the case, they shouldn’t have shown photos on their APP INTRODUCTION. Typical FALSE ADVERTISEMENT technique used on App Store.

This app is slow, crashed and not worth it. It’s also very misleading, you can NOT upload images form your desktop.

The ap works pretty well

The app itself is great… When it’s working. At least about 70% of the time (being generous) the app loads up blank. Nothing you do short of closing it out and restarting it a few times will fix it. Also, at least half the time, any notifications you get refuse to clear. They just won’t go away. Unless again, you spend about 10 minutes restarting the app until by luck it starts taking your commands. The features are all there, outside of photo uploading which is a limit Instagram imposes, it’s not the fault of the app dev. It allows you to download photos or videos, comment, like, and so on, and the interface is actually beautiful. They just need to really work desperately hard on stability, as it’s very hit or miss that it works at any given time. But when it works, it would be worthy of a 5 star rating.

I would rate this app **** before they got their last upgrade . . but for now i would rate them * because they have the stupid feature about deactived our newfeed because we didnt log in our instagarm on our phone . . i mean if i have to log in my phone anyway why i have to purchase this app then? for what? to see this new feature said “ your newfeed is deactived “ ?

When it works, its great. But it usually crashes at least once or more when you use it.

Great App, it does what it says and the developer is always responsive of comments and concerns about the app. I would like more personal customizations but IG has a lot of rules.

I think that this was sort of a ripoff. You can just go on the internet and go on instagram. It’s sort of the same thing as the regualar instagram. You can’t post anything on this app. I recomend just using the instagram online. You can buy this but it doesn’t let you post anything.

Great Propgram just wish instagram would allow 3rd party uploads.

Is Great…!!! Only to be perfect… The posibility to upload photo from a Computer. But that is not InstaDesk fault. Excellent app.

.. one of the main reasons people download instagram or use instagram is for the ability to interact via uploading pictures. This app developer does not explicitly say that you can upload photos but it also withholds the fact that you cannot. Be up front. I shouldn’t have to download an app and pay $4.99 for a service that is misleading. How about you refund my money?

Okay, I *get* the fact that third-party software can’t upload photos from the desktop. But no editing tags and comments? No rearranging the order? Photodesk, WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU GOOD FOR?

Can’t upload photos from desktop. There’s no point to this app.
